A beautiful experience! I am a tourist from Jakarta Indonesia where bar plays loud music, people chatter loudly. This bar, is a whole different level. I might say, it's an acquired taste. You fall in love to the bar after you are inside. The entrance stairs are VERY dark. Too dark at the point I thought the bar is closed. When you open the door, it's dark too. No music, AT ALL. Again, I thought the bar is close, but apparently that's the selling point. It's a dark, silent place where you chat in whisper and allowed to enjoy very good drinks. I'm sceptical at first, feeling awkward too, but then greeted by a very polite, well dressed bartender offering you drinks. "No menu, just whisky or basic cocktails..", he said. Me and a friend ordered cosmopolitan and vodka tonic, dare I say even the basic vodka tonic tastes delicious! It's not for everyone. The bartender used immersion blenders with fresh fruit, aged liquors like scotch and grappa, speciality/rare bottles - and everything was perfectly balanced. I can’t recommend this place enough.
