Just had my first kaiseki meal in Japan — and I can confidently say I’ll be dreaming about it for years to come!

Furubayashi is a hidden gem that offers more than just a meal — it’s a journey through seasonal flavors, meticulous technique, and heartfelt hospitality. Every course was a work of art, from the delicate sashimi to the deeply flavorful broth, each dish telling a quiet story of tradition and creativity.

What stood out most, besides the mind-blowing flavors, was the pacing and attention to detail. Nothing felt rushed. The space is intimate, peaceful, and honors the experience as much as the food itself.

味:5◎ 季節を感じる上品で程よく薄口なお料理です。素材の味を活かしたお料理自体はもちろんですが、季節毎に変わる食器も素敵なものばかりで、目でも楽しませてくださります。 雰囲気:4.5◎ 個室の種類によって、雰囲気が少しずつ変わりますが、どのお部屋からも窓から外やお庭の景色が伺えて、暖かい雰囲気の個室です。掘り炬燵式の和室なので、足の悪い方や、ご年配の方にも優しいです。 接客:4.5◎ かしこまりすぎず、でも程よく丁寧な暖かみのある接客です。
