This ramen restaurant is a good walking distance from Tachikawa station. It was my first visit. I chose the basic ramen, "assari niboshi shoyu" (lightly simmered soy sauce). The ramen arrived in about 5 minutes. The bowl was small, but the ramen looked so beautiful that I wanted to take a picture of it. The soup was light and tasty, with a hint of niboshi (dried sardines). The noodles are moderately firm and slurp in your mouth. The chashu pork is delicious! My kind of taste. The ramen itself is niboshi (dried fish) based, so although it is ramen, it is much healthier than most! Many people come here for their tsukemen and abura soba, and you can always find people taking photos inside. They also offer free pickled vegetables, and during lunch they offer a free side of rice if you wish.

Luckily there are plenty of sources of acid available for free such as vinegar on the table or the free flow lightly pickled beansprouts. adding the beansprouts to the soup opened it up so much more and the deep and rich niboshi flavors...
