生パスタ専門店 麦と卵 吉祥寺店 — Restaurant in Tokyo

This is a special fresh pasta shop that serves Hokkaido pasta dishes. There are oil, tomato and cream-based pasta types and the portion is big. The place itself is very nice - good lighting and ambiance, with an option for both counter and table seats. I tried the tomato/cheese/eggplant dish which is the thirdoat popular apperantly with a glass of the house wine.

From a counter seat you can see the open kitchen and how your pasta is made - they have a very organized system since the place is popular and two cooks were able to really pump out pasta plates consistently. It took about 25 minutes during peak hour to get my order.

The pasta is good, cooked right, and the mozzarella was good as well. Eggplants were a bit undercooked but overall it's a good dish. I gave the place 4 stars since they need to hire more staff and have some mercy on the overworked one. The pasta has a lot of hype around it - but it lives up to...

A new restaurant that serves fresh pasta in Kichijoji. They opened on February 20th, and already got popular among the Kichijoji people apparently! You order by using a ticket machine, and I ordered cream pasta with avocados, shrimps and homemade bacon. The pasta was very good, so was the sauce.
