We were informed that they ran out of bread for the set meal that we ordered. So they offered to give us 200yen off. Of course, in this context, we thought that the discount is per set meal. Then they went back and said it’s available so we said it’s okay, we’ll take the one bread offer earlier.
But when we were paying, we got changed by full price. Then I told them that we didn’t get the other bread and the staff insisted that, since it was already available and we refused, we still be paying for the full price. Which didn’t make any sense. I kept on persisting that the other staff told us that it’s 200yen off, she went back to consult with other staff and agreed to give the 200yen back. Read moreA nice vibe and atmosphere in this vegan place. As you might expect from a vegan restaurant in Tokyo, prices are quite high and portions are pretty small. But the food is good and it’s a nice option for a lighter lunch.
You can choose from a menu of 4 plates - rice based, curry based, salad based and soup based. We tried the curry and rice and both were good - nice to taste some saffron and cardamom in Tokyo, so if you like these you’ll enjoy.
The place also has a nice selection of home made bread and pastries so probably great for a coffee break.
