All Day Dining "Cross Dine" — Restaurant in Tokyo

A miscommunication left me being treated like a criminal. The hostess/manager asked me if I had a room key to which I replied I'm not staying here. We stood there and looked at eachother for a few seconds and she asked again for a room key. I repeated I'm not staying here, I want to pay. She stated it was ¥3500 and I stated yes, and pointed to the giant sign stating as much to my left. She gave me my table reservation tag and I said sorry in regards to the miscommunication. She "replied no you aren't" incinuating that I was trying to sneak into a hotel buffet for free. My bill was brought to my table before I even finished, and a hotel porter followed me to the washroom, and then out the door.

I wasn't rude to this person or anyone else on site at any point. More confused and bewildered than anything. I wasn’t in a suit, but I was pretty far from disheveled. The buffet was mediocre at best, not worth the cost in my opinion, even if things had went smoothly.

Your milage may vary, but my particular experience ruined my entire day. Maybe lunch and dinner is better, but I'll never find out. I definitely won't be staying at the hotel or recommending either to...

We are staying at this hotel. This morning we decided to get an American breakfast and we walked in and got a table. Apparently the waitress was so pushy and nasty with no manners. She gave us only 1 menu and a glass water . Actually we were 2 people. So I asked an extra menu. She pretended not to understand me and insisted that I have to order right away and I told her just gave me few more minutes so she said just share this menu and giving me a dirty look. In our whole trip in Japan and only 1 person a waitress from our hotel treated their customers so bad. We walked out and told the front desk receptionist. We will never come back to this...

You can always tell how good a place is by how their food is during a weekday. I will say that for sub 5000jpy the quality is certainly there. Sure the quantity/selection is a bit lacking, but the food is for sure worth it. I’m strongman trainer so I like my meat sources. The roast beef, the Iberian pork, and Hamburg steak was absolutely fire. The staff are very very kind and accommodating. Cups are a bit small, but that’s just a nitpicking complaint hehe
