Azabujuban Yakuzen Curry — Restaurant in Tokyo

Truly deserving of five stars in every way, from the meticulous service and cleanliness of the staff, to the delicious food, to the amazing whisky selection, and solid jazz. I’ve been coming here for years to have the Sri Lanka and chicken curries as well as their outrageously good pickles and even had them all delivered to my apartment from their online store.

Note this place is downstairs and has bar signage, it was hard to tell it was this restaurant. The curry was very flavorful. There are 2 labeled vegan options, and English menu was available. We also had fresh kumquat cocktails that were AMAZING. Service was good. Only downside was that a large group showed up as we finished dinner and many started smoking. 店内は完全にBARです。しかもオシャレな方の！ びっくりする数のウイスキーがバーカウンター奥に並んでる中、ここで注文できるのが薬膳カレー。 オシャレ×オシャレで最高です。

薬膳カレーは1種類~3種類まで選べてご飯も白米を大豆ライスにも変更できます✨ 大豆ライスは少し時間かかるみたいなので時間に余裕をみて頼みましょう！

薬膳カレーは言うまでもなくめちゃくちゃ美味しかったです。

グルテンフリーでもあり、大豆ライスと肉無しルーを選べばビーガンの方もOKなカレーです。

We entered the restaurant at 1:58pm, just before lunch order, and I thought we might be turned down, but we were kindly guided in ✨.

The interior of the restaurant is completely BAR. And a fashionable one! While a surprising number of whiskeys are lined up behind the bar counter, what you can order here is a medicinal curry. Fashionable x stylish is the best.

You can choose from one to three types of yakuzen curry, and you can also change the rice from white to soy rice ✨. Soy rice may take a little longer, so be sure to ask for it well in advance!

Needless to say, the yakuzen curry was delicious.

The curry is also gluten free and vegans can choose soy rice and meatless roux.
