Unique little Mexican place in Nakameguro with homemade tortillas. I would like to make a disclaimer that I grew up in Southern California close to the Mexican border so I'm incredibly biased when it comes to Mexican food. The food here was a refreshing take on tacos and burritos in Japan. They make their tortillas and hot sauce from scratch but the food was a bit like a casserole in tortilla and was missing a lot of the spice and flavor I'd expect in a taco or burrito. They do have great drinks for the price especially with how much tequila they put in.

Read moreFinally got to experience this little restaurant/bar! Mexican style burritos and tacos with lots of side dishes. Everything is a pretty reasonable price, around 380 to 500 yen not including tax. Drinks start around 500yen. The burritos are a pretty decent size. Tacos are tiny, but so delicious you won't regret it. The owner/chef is quite humble and will communicate in (broken) English. Overall good experience, fyi it's a tiny space so make sure you don't have a lot of luggage on you - even a coat, because you won't be finding the space to place...

For me, the best item was the Baja fish taco, but honestly the flavors just aren’t there. Perhaps it’s because Japanese palates tend to lean on the subtler side, but when it comes to Mexican food people are looking for some real flavor punches and kicks, and this is barely a slapfight.
I don’t recommend dining in unless you actually like being in a super cramped space that can barely...
