If you’re looking for something that leaves you feeling warm and cozy, this restaurant is a hidden gem worth visiting. During our final days in Tokyo, we were craving comfort food and were lucky to find this spot just a short walk from our hotel.

The inviting aroma greets you before you even step inside, and the cozy, tastefully decorated interior sets the tone for a relaxing meal. The owner was incredibly kind, spoke English, and took the time to walk us through the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations. I appreciate him calling out dishes that are spicy.

We ordered the lentil and pumpkin curry with yellow rice and a side of eggplant, followed by a pudding for dessert. Every dish was full of flavor, perfectly balanced, and comforting without being overly spicy. After our meal, the owner even chatted with us about the area and shared his favorite local spots.

There aren’t any Sri Lankan restaurants where we live, but this one made such a lasting impression—we can’t wait...

🍛The lunch menu is fixed: the plate meal with small candy & tea. 2800¥ 19$US I don't know how to describe the food, anyway it's not a square meal, not a divine dessert, overall, not an enjoyable lunch. However, It may help with a detox.

☕The tea is great. I wanted to wash it all down with tea, but they turned down my additional order. Also the poor customer service left a bad taste in my mouth.

🏚️The restaurant is located in residential area so you have to be intentional about coming to here without expecting other spots nearby. The architecture and interior are quaint, however, it's not a historic one； The Artcomplex Center of Tokyo (ACT) Built in 2007

🚨They do not allow children under the age of 12 to enter the shop.

🤔I wonder why the curry shop is in the gallery, you cannot enjoy the exhibition's afterglow there, because they expect you to leave the shop immediately after you...

Me and my husband were there for lunch. We didn't have any reservation so we waited around 10 minutes until we seated. So they only have this lunch set menu for 1.800円, a little over my price range. The main menu was beautifully presented, colorful veggies (beet, pumpkin, daikon, yellow lentil curry, roasted shredded coconut, bright green veggies, chicken curry and) with red rice. For the dessert they have 2 bite size cakes (one with Semolina flour and the other one was cardamom cake). Served with Ceylon tea. Was it good? Yes it was. And very spicy too. I wonder are Japanese can handle this kind of spiciness. Will I go there again? I guess no. Maybe if the price around 1.300円 I...
