BURG HOLIC - BlackAngus Steak and Hamburger Restaurant - Western Tex-mex food — Restaurant in Tokyo

Overall, the atmosphere is very chilled and calm. If you can get a table in the middle of the restaurant, those tables are so big and comfortable it's really nice to sit there. The music is great too, it's just chilled acoustics jams. The hand towels that they give you are really high quality and are very thick and smell good too. I only wish they would serve water in a normal glass as opposed to a plastic cup. I once ordered a chocolate sundae for dessert and the ice cream they use is very high quality but in general it wasn't "chocolatey' enough.

I personally don't care much about burgers but my girlfriend loves them and she's eaten burgers all over the world. She reckon's that this burger joint might be the best burger restaurant in Japan. To be fair, it's probably the best burger place I've been to. The quality of the burgers are fantastic. The meat is superb, well assembled, and the brioche bun on top is very good too. When eating the fries it is clear that they are fresh and that they cut them in-house because fresh fries quickly dry-out if you don't eat them as soon as they leave the kitchen. The service is standard and straight-forward, the menu is a bit complicated and there is too much information. The staff are willing to help you if you can speak Japanese but if not it might be a little difficult to communicate with them. Basically, fries do not come with your burger which I was a little disappointed with because I think that's the norm for burger restaurants right?

I would recommend this restaurant and it's a great place to bring friends for a casual night out...

This could have been a great place, and it's ALMOST there.

The ambience is nice - well lit and laid out and with a variety of tables, not cramped like many other places.

The service is quick, friendly and attentive (and the waitress spoke English).

The toppings are both standard ones likes avocado and bacon, as well as a few interesting options.

But the burger itself was where everything fell apart - literally and figuratively. The meat patty was dry and crumbled apart as i bit into it. Not an ounce of flavour or juice to redeem itself. Although the buns were just right, and the avocado and lettuce were fresh and top notch, the meat is the point of a burger!

Since they got everything else right, I hope it was just an off...

I needed to find a place to eat burgers with two friends who are burger fans and pretty demanding when it comes to quality. The pressure was on! Perhaps the stormtrooper at the entrance tipped the scales when I checked this place online... but as soon as we walked in, the staff immediately took that weight off my shoulders. The service was almost on par with a Michelin-starred restaurant, with everyone being attentive to our every need. Impressive!

And the burgers? Absolutely outstanding! My two friends were genuinely impressed. This place definitely lived up...
