I stopped by here for a Saturday morning breakfast because I wanted something a little nicer than your average Denny’s in Japan. Don’t get me wrong, I think Denny’s is a great value in Japan and the quality is much better than the United States.
I like the ambience of this place. The walls were covered with rough sawn wood. On a Saturday morning at 8 AM, there were single diners as well as small groups of people just enjoying breakfast.
The waffles were crispy, there was fresh whipped cream, and the fruit was excellent. I had a caramel latte and it just topped everything off perfectly.
This is probably not a place that most tourist go, but I picked Setagaya to get a more residential feel. Restaurants like this help make that happen.
Since I speak Japanese, it’s hard for me to say if this restaurant is English friendly or not. I think you would do fine just using apps in order to do the ordering.
