I have had the pleasure of visiting the Ogawa Coffee several times and am happy to share my experience with you. One of the first things I noticed and appreciated was the coffee itself: here the coffee is roasted on site, which gives the drinks an authentic and delicious aroma and flavour. Every cup of coffee I've tried here has had a distinctive and rich taste, showing the attention and care that goes into the preparation. In addition to the drinks, the dishes and desserts offered at the shop have always been an excellent surprise. I tried several specialties on the menu and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients and the careful and creative preparation. Considering the quality of the drinks and food on offer, I think the price is more than fair. It is a truly advantageous value for money that makes the experience even more pleasant. The shoop features a minimalist design, which contributes to a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The choice of essential but welcoming furnishings makes it the ideal place to relax, work or simply enjoy a quiet moment with a good cup of coffee.

Tried the American Style Breakfast with charcoal grilled butter toast with hot house blend coffee (1 breakfast set for ¥1800, ~$19AUD). The breakfast doesn’t look fancy but each ingredient was delicious, the scrambled egg is smooth, the skin of the potato is crunchy, grilled mushroom with parma ham was a perfect combo, etc. The toast looks simple too but it is with airy texture and perfectly toasted. The house blend coffee was very nice because it doesn’t taste too citrus and not too strong to have with empty stomach. Staff were friendly and some staff can speak simple English. I wasn’t sure what to do when first arrived the cafe because there was no sign in guiding customers. What I did was I went inside, reached to one of the staffs at the counter and told them I needed a table for 2. Then, the staff will use body language to tell you to wait on the side. Then, they will wave you when your table is ready, order your food at the counter and then go to your table. :)

Really but sure why the rating is below a four. For a coffee place, I’d give it a 5. For eating, a 4. But overall, a good experience. Went for dinner and the interior was super dim and cozy, perfect for a date night. The burger was actually pretty tasty, as was the cheesecake. And the coffee was excellent. The strange thing was they wanted us all to have the set (party of 4, and two people wanted to try it, the other two didn’t) and were nonnegotiable about it. None of us ended up getting the set meal. Just an fyi, but the staff was friendly and service fast.

Nice cafe. I tried their iced matcha latte and a charcoal grilled buttered toast topped with ogura red bean jam and mascarpone whipped cream and they both tasted really good. They place has a stylish atmosphere and many seats. It gets packed at the weekend, so you might have to queue for a while. English menu available. Friendly staff. You can pay by cash, card and other cashless options like PayPay.

Quite a diverse and well explained selection of different coffees. I’ve come here a few times now and sampled different ones from here and there. Most of them were excellent. I did out of curiosity try the toast and it wasn’t anything spectacular to be honest. I might try some of the other foods next time but as of now, I simply enjoy the great coffee selection.

Matcha Tiramisu was the best but the banana smoothie was a complete disappointment. No ice, no sweetness, boring, such a waste for the price they charge. One female waitress was rude when my son asked if the 5 of us can sit at the 4 seater table. She replied ‘no’ many times to him and in a rude tone. The staff weren’t attentive if we needed our water refilled.
