Cafe rin — Restaurant in Tokyo

This restaurant is on my favourite street in Hachioji, and I must have walked past it a dozen times before. On this particular day, my favourite restaurant was closed to the public (they don't really advertise it), so on the way back to the hotel I went into Café Rin. They had a tomato keema special, and that was all I needed to know. It came with several different sides, and I ate several of them before I remembered to take a photo (Sorry!).

The decor is quite cozy, and stocked with little knicknacks crafted by the local artist community. I really want to go back and try the cheesecake, and if they still have that keema when I come back I'll have it again.

I went back in May 2025, and the place was closed for an artists' workshop. I tried again a few days later, and it was quite a bit busier than my first visit. I had the keema curry again -- and...

展示を観るために訪問しました。

木の温もりを感じる、 素朴で温かみのある店内。 それに加えて、作家さん達の作品が壁に展示してあったのですが、丁度良く調和していました。

ちょうど、展覧会とのコラボメニューがあったので Tea-Partyプレート＋カフェオレを注文。

アフタヌーンティーをイメージしたプレートセットは、 季節の味覚（かぼちゃ、りんご）やイベント（ハロウィンの白いおばけちゃん）が盛り込まれていて 見ても食べても、わくわくするメニューでした🍎🐿️

メニューを提供しているカップやお皿は、 オーナーさんが各地で購入した「作家手作りのもの」を使用しているそうです。

親しみを感じさせる雰囲気と、 作家さん達の持ち味をを引き立たせる事がお上手な、 素敵な人柄でした(⌒▽⌒)🌼
