Charcoal-Grilled Yakitori Momotaro Azabu-Juban — Restaurant in Tokyo

Although the menu has English on it, it seemed like the staff did not want to seat us because we spoke English even though they had empty seats available. The interior has a more contemporary Japanese design which I liked. It can get loud in there as it attracts more of a younger crowd. After being seated you are given edamame and cabbage with kewpie and bean paste as an appetizer. The staff doesn’t come by to take your order unless you call for them so the service was not that good. The food taste is just okay and the menu is nothing special, some of the food takes a long time to prepare and come to your table. The alcohol is on the stronger side which is good...

It was not awful.. But when you’re in Tokyo, or in general, when you’re on vacation, you should eat good food and have a good time. But this place offers neither… It was ok, but I def. wouldn’t recommend it to hang out here. I had no choice, because it was rainy, and every other place seemed to be closed.
