China Blue — Restaurant in Tokyo

I tried to write the complaint in restaurant (China Blue) in directly however I am not able to find the email address.

Yesterday (16/April) my family had a birthday party for my husband and mine.

The food quality was great and tasted as I used to (I like to have a lunch or dinner in Conrad Tokyo as my husband’s company is near by)

Until the last birthday’s plate are served.

The served man gave the white colored flowers bouquet made of lily and chrysanthemum flowers.

I was so shocked about it, it is not for the birthday’s flowers, it is for the funeral‘s flowers.

However, I do not want to ruined birthday’s party as my mother in laws prepared for me and my husband.

I was checked the Japanese funeral flowers by myself.

The served man (I am not sure he is managers or not) took back the flowers after we finished the party. He told me that it is just decoration for celebration so we should give him back the flowers, which is we did not get any notification. (It was ok. I did not want to get a funeral flowers in my birthday)

It is really unpleasant experience I ever had it. I’d like share this important information with you as so many foreign customers will visit your hotel. And those unconventional behavior makes people so disappointed.

I must say that I don’t really understand what’s all the hype about this place. Good side: you will definitely enjoy a great view of the city and a nice vibe of the place. BUT, the food is just OK. I haven’t been in a lot of fancy places in my life but this is a place where I wouldn’t go again and I wouldn’t recommend either. Not that is bad, but its just not good enough for the price. We had an amazing dinner here for our second to last night in Tokyo. The food was amazing and our server/shift leader Takeda was so kind and hospitable. He took the time to explain every dish and made the experience one to remember. The views of the city are incredible.
