Caretta Shiodome Sky View — Attraction in Tokyo

Unless I missed something, "observation deck" itself is actually pretty narrow, just a couple metres of glass window in between some restaurants and a corridor. The best part about this was the elevator ride up and down, the elevator walls are glass so you get an awesome view. It's on the 46th floor. Also it's free!

If you want to see the Tokyo skyline for free and not pay for ‘Tokyo Skytree’ or ‘Shibuya Sky’ this is the answer. Not only is it free to go up but there is no waiting/registration. Just go into the building and take the elevator to ‘Sky Restaurants’. There the elevator will provide you with an amazing view to the top where you can also feast your eyes on the port side of the city.
