BEST TOKYO VIEW X Wagyu Beef 🥩 Teppanyaki restaurant in Tokyo !
This counter is one of my favorite spots, where you can take a quick break from a busy business schedule, enjoy a delicious lunch, and sip on a glass of Champagne. I’ve been recommending it to friends visiting from abroad for a long time! ☺️
You can enjoy this teppanyaki lunch in just an hour, featuring: • Ohitashi (Japanese-style marinated greens) 🥒 • Lotus root soup 🥣 • Grilled vegetables from Saga & Ibaraki prefectures 🥦 • Salad with orange 🍊 dressing 🥗 • Awaji Island onions 🧅 • Tokyo-produced black wagyu beef (fillet) 🥩 • Mascarpone mousse with melon 🍈
And as a wonderful surprise, although she wasn’t there at the time, I received a special gift from Chef Sommelier Morimoto—a glass of Ruinart Rosé Champagne 🍾! It paired beautifully with the wagyu beef. 🥹💕
Teppanyaki Chef Masahiko Soga 👩🍳 prepared everything with a smile, and in the midst of my busy days, this was the perfect healing lunch with stunning views of Tokyo and my favorite Hamarikyu Gardens 🌳.
This time, I had the pleasure of visiting with a client I’ve been working with for a long time. It was also the opportunity to express my gratitude to Chef Sommelier Morimoto of Conrad Tokyo, who supported me last year when I was honored with the “Honorary Sommelier” title from the Japan Sommelier Association. Thank you for everything!
This teppanyaki counter is extremely popular, especially among steak-loving international guests, so I highly recommend making a reservation in advance! 💕 Enjoy with a glass or bottle of champagne Jacquart!

Read moreDining at Kazahana, Conrad Tokyo, was an evening of refined indulgence. Located on the 28th floor, the restaurant offers a serene escape above the city, where sweeping skyline views meet an atmosphere of understated elegance. The space feels upscale yet warmly inviting, and the service is exceptional—attentive, intuitive, and perfectly balanced to make every moment flow seamlessly.
I experienced the Kaiseki Dinner “Waraku” (JPY 25,000), a beautifully curated journey that highlighted the season’s finest ingredients. Each course was crafted with precision and artistry, embodying the essence of kaiseki dining. The progression of flavors and textures felt thoughtful, deliberate, and deeply connected to Japanese seasonality.
The meal began with Nagaimo somen, a refreshing and elegant opening, followed by Negitoro over rice, comforting and flavorful. The Grilled Ayu in broth was a true standout—smoky, tender, and a perfect celebration of seasonal river fish. The sashimi course brought purity and balance, leading into the choice of a main dish: either the charcoal-grilled domestic wagyu, rich and aromatic, or an assortment of tempura, crisp and golden with the chef’s expert touch. The kaiseki journey rounded out with steamed white rice, miso soup, and pickles, before closing with the dessert of the day, a sweet and delicate finish.
Kazahana is more than a meal—it is a moment suspended between tradition and modern luxury. Japanese seasonality is elevated by impeccable skill and artistry, and the dining experience is framed against one of Tokyo’s most breathtaking backdrops. For anyone seeking an authentic yet elevated taste of Japan, this is a truly unforgettable...
Read moreThe good: nice view, excellent sashimi tuna, nice atmosphere. Nice wines on the menu.
The bad: We had a Christmas dinner set, 7 courses. Food ranged from OK to tasteless (with exception for the sashimi), presentation was good. We are used to Japanese cuisine, this may be a special traditional menu for Christmas, but it should still taste something. We didn't get water until we asked for it. Unattentive staff despite full crew at work.
The ugly: Extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. Very high markup on wine and drinks. You can have Michelin class dinner with drinks for less almost anywhere in the world.
Just choose somewhere else to have dinner. The bar at Conrad is good. Dinner here is just...
