Hands down one of the best tsukemen we've ever had in Tokyo. Fish-based dipping noodles that are thick with awesome bite. Not too chewy but just enough to be a pleasure to eat. We have a favorite tsukemen place that's very similar near where we live and this place is undoubtedly better. Recommended by my wife's brother, really glad we checked it out the next time we were in Shibuya. As the noodles are awesome, I'd recommend upgrading for extra noodles (oomori) for JPY 50. Well worth it. They'll ask you to pick from two noodle types. They'll recommend the one on the right called daihyoumen, make sure you go for that. The dipping soup base comes with really good chashu pork slices as well as menma (bamboo shoots). I'd also get an egg as well which was pretty good. The soup itself is thick with a strong fish base and a noticeable lemon zest to cut through it a bit. Price is reasonable for the high quality and being near to the center of Shibuya. If you're any kind of Japanese noodle fan and looking for a local favorite, definitely try this place. You may need to wait outside around peak times, it was full when we first arrived on a rainy day.

I visited this restaurant 4 years ago and I am glad to say that the quality is still amazing and it deserves all the recognition it has. The chewiness of the noodles combines superbly with their thick and meaty broth. The soft boiled egg is cooked perfectly and is marinated with a lot of flavours. Every time you have a slurp of their noodles dipped into the broth, there's a surge of this meaty flavour bursting in your mouth and it is so addicting. The cha siu is also soft and flavourful. Do keep in mind however that the store is very small, only 10 seats or so inside, and it is also popular which is a terrible combination. You usually have to line up for 15-30 minutes but they take your order in advance so the moment you get a seat inside the restaurant, you instantly get served.

One of the very good tsukemen that you can find around shibuya. The shop is small, but once you get the order from the vending machine, you can queue outside. Average queue time during lunch hour could range from 20 mins to 45 mins. Worth the wait. The soup was very thick, and very flavourful yet not oily. They have two types of noodle, which is different from some normal tsukemen. Try the recommended type, it is made from wheat. Follow the instructions there, if you have left over browth, add the soup and finish it. The chef wants the customer to finish every thing and feel satisfied after your meal. This is the type of food where you are highly satisfied because of the wholesome experience you get from the food. Must try.

Located within Shibuya, this joint serves really good Tsukemen. It’s a small place with 12 seats but people eat and move off very quickly so the waiting time is pretty fast. After you order from the machine, you hand the ticket to the waiter and then wait outside the shop till there’s a free seat. For those who don’t speak or read Japanese, it might be a little tricky since they don’t have English translation but we got by with just looking at the pictures. A great local experience and fuss free food!

Yummy Tsukemen! I recently visited Dogenzaka Mammoth and the food was absolutely delicious. When i arrive, luckily not much queue. It was 20:00 on weekday. I ordered the Tsukemen Style Ramen and it was cooked to perfection. The noodle is springy, the broth is so thick and flavourful. When you dip the noodle in the broth can stick to the noodle. The portion size was just right. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained.

Delicious very flavorful broth. The chashuu is thick and juicy with a nice grilled flavor. Very small shop but most people are fast eaters so you won't be queuing for long. They will ask you how hard you want your noodles, the soft option is already nicely firm. Large portion of noodles I wasn't able to finish. I recommend asking for "Kami epuron" to get a bib to not dirty you clothes with the broth.
