We visited this place in May, but just got to write something here. Highlights: - Absolutely loved high-quality, all-you-can-eat ingredients - Superb location, across the street from GU, very near Mega Don-quijote, etc. - Nice staffs from receptionist to waitress. - Good vibes of an authentic Sukiyaki restaurant. Ones might think this place is pricey, but if you wanna try an authentic Sukiyaki that serves high quality beef, this is it! We only had Momo in Thailand, which only serves Australian and US beef. So coming to Japan, we wanted to try authentic Japanese beef, that's why we picked a pricier package of ~5k JPY (the cheapest package here only serves non-JP beef). And it did not disappoint us! The Japanese beef sets were of another level. If you are a beef-lover, I would definitely recommend you to try this. The package we picked gave us 3 choices of beef part, I couldn't remember specific types but they were all great! This Momo shows you how a traditional Sukiyaki should look like with shallower sauce, allowing you to taste the meat better. Apart from the meat, they also serve high-quality vegetable, rice, meatballs, drinks, all-you-can-eat. We walked-in without prior booking on Friday around 18:30 at dinner time, and it took around 20 mins to wait. (As it got darker in the evening, the lines were longer). They had a storage room for belongings and aprons for you and your handbags at the dining table to prevent spills. Most of the staff spoke fluent English, and had nice manners. Ms. Sooyeon waited our table, guided us through the procedures, thoroughly introduced us the ingredients, and also took pictures for us to capture this memorable moment. You won't regret eating here as the biggest meal on your next trip to Tokyo!

This is a must visit if you're in Tokyo. Came for lunch and got the 4800 yen buffet set (+200 yen for 2 types of soup) for Japanese wagyu beef, and it was well worth it. The wagyu is super marbled, and super delicious in both the shabu shabu base and the sukiyaki base. Staff are attentive and will promptly offer to bring more meat when you're finished with your current box/plate, which comes with 4 ultra thin but long slices. The price at the supermarket appears to be around 1000 yen for 4 slices (~125g) of a similar quality of raw wagyu, in case you're wondering. The set also came with Japanese pork, which I wasn't looking for but turned out to be almost just as delicious as the wagyu. It was a lovely surprise! I would definitely recommend you have it here, it goes great in the shabu shabu. We didn't want to fill up on rice so we just had a small bowl each, but the rice was great too. All the vegetables are super fresh and lovely too, and you can get shiitake and enoki mushrooms, such a treat. As other reviewers have commented, the icecream here is also really good! Definitely try the roasted tea icecream, and try the strawberry ice cream too, both are excellent as a dessert in your last 15 minutes. We didn't have a booking for lunch and the restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived around 12PM on a Saturday, but had filled up by time we left. Also appreciated the complimentary mouthwash in the bathroom, and the big cloth covers offered by staff to protect your jackets and bags. Super thoughtful. Highly recommended!

I made a reservation online, but based on what I saw, it’s probably not necessary unless you’re coming with a group. Solo diners might only wait a few minutes. You can choose from different courses, each corresponding to a different type or quality of meat, and every option includes 100 minutes of all-you-can-eat — and unlike many other places, they truly honor the full time. There’s no mobile ordering system, but that actually made the experience better. The staff were extremely attentive — they brought fresh meat and refilled drinks without you even needing to call them. They also explained everything in detail at the beginning, which is great if you’re not familiar with the setup. Solo seating can feel a bit cramped, mainly because of the limited table space, and it does get quite warm inside since there isn’t much ventilation. Still, it’s manageable and doesn’t take away too much from the experience. The sides, vegetables, and broth additions are all available at a self-serve buffet that’s clean and well-stocked. There’s an all-you-can-drink option for soft drinks and alcohol, but since individual drinks are reasonably priced, you’d need to order several to get your money’s worth from the drink plan. Overall, it’s a great value for the quality, service, and amount of food you get. I’d definitely recommend it — especially if you want a proper all-you-can-eat experience without being rushed.

Wanted to have some shabu in this cold weather when I chanced upon this shop in Shibuya. Recommend to make a reservation because of its popularity but otherwise, I waited for about 30mins without any prior reservations. The ambience of the shop was pleasant and comfortable. It wasn’t anything too squeezy and was rather spacious with clear distinct seatings and food corner. The beef was exceptionally good and I recommend going for the special course minimally with the sukiyaki and shabu soup base. It was worth the buck and 100mins felt just about nice. Personally feel that the pork was mid, can definitely be better. Last but not least, a big shoutout to Nasuyeon and Chen Yuyi. They were superb in their services and provided a great dinner experience. Chen was experienced for the food recommendation and was able to converse really well in Mandarin. She even helped to prepare special condiments that went really well with the meat. Nasuyeon was really friendly and assisted promptly with all requests such as the alcohol & meat refills. If anything, their professionalism and dedication in providing a pleasant dinner experience was worth every second of your time for a dinner in Tokyo with them. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a good dinner place in Shibuya!!
