Denny's Takadanobaba — Restaurant in Tokyo

A delicious spot me and the wifey checked out on our way to another city. It was a quick 12 minute walk from the hotel we stayed at in Mejiro.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the food here tasted great and different from I’m use to in the States.

We got: Natto, it was my first time trying it and the texture was wild but the taste was delicious! We got the basted egg breakfast combo. French toast, corn soup, prosciutto salad, and chicken and shrimp porridge.

All of this for about $20.10 usd or roughly 3000 yen.

Our meals came with free drink refill so it was amazing. Lots of coffee, tea, juice beverages available.

This a nice family restaurant, don’t expect too much of it, nothing super original but a clean, kids friendly place where you can enjoy spacious and confortable tables (which is not a given everywhere). Choice of Meals is varied with a nice selection of Japanese and European dishes. Price wise it’s a bit of a hidden cost experience: you select a seemingly affordable dish but have to go through 3 to 4 options steps to add side salads, rice, this, that….and end up paying at least 25% more than expected, check out the bill for a ‘2 adults + 1 kid two meal course’a bit overpriced for a...

Stating the obvious here, but just in case: they sell different food than the USA Denny’s you might know.

Staff is really kind! Drink bar for around ¥350. The steak was surprisingly good (for a diner).
