Ebisu Kihuu — Restaurant in Tokyo

Lovely place for a dinner splurge. Service was warm and friendly. The owner/ chef speaks English which was very helpful because he could explain what was in each dish. Not in exact detail but enough to help you understand what went into making a dish. Each serving is small but just the right size to allow you to sample more of other food. There were many dishes- I particularly enjoyed the sashimi and assortment which featured a miso fermented egg. Everything is seasonal so don’t expect to get to order...

Unbelievable - beautiful to look at, and even more scrumptious to eat. Every bite was made with such precision and uniqueness of flavors, with seasonal fresh ingredients. Several of the fish and meat, I had never seen prepared in this way. They truly delighted. The chef is incredibly kind, and the intimate atmosphere is incredible.

Had an amazing time to celebrate our anniversary at Kihuu at the start of 2020. The food and servewares were just out of this world. Sourced from the best and freshest ingredients, each dish was placed in container that was itself, a piece of art. Never have I dreamed of drinking sake from a 100 yo bottle. Amazing...
