I've been going to espresso factory for years. Honestly the coffee is superior and is one of the best coffee shops in central Tokyo. I usually get a cappuccino. If you're into your coffee and love coffee art then give it a go. The owner also makes desserts and lunch specials but the true focus is the coffee, which he also sells his own blend. The place is small but in such a nice location that it doesn't usually get that busy, and the decor is simple but effortless. I love this place.

Latte is superior. Have been trying a coffee spot each day in Tokyo and this is the best so far. Kind owner. English menu available. Close to metro station. Had the place to myself mid-morning weekday. Classical music playing quietly. Pleasant place to read or rest for a moment.

Nice cozy cafe that we found on our way from Nezu Shrine to Yanaka Ginza. Very good espresso coffee. I ordered Cafe Latte and my husband ordered a mocha. Hubby’s mocha had a cute usagi (rabbit) art. Hubby liked it so much he ordered another to go!

【2022.04.05訪問】 千駄木にあるEspresso Factory（エスプレッソファクトリー）さんに行ってきました。谷根千の他のカフェを巡りながらこちらも伺ったのですが、随分前に何度か伺ったきりだったので久しぶりの訪問です。 お店は千駄木駅を降りて、団子坂を登って3分ほどの距離にあります。坂なので気持ちもう少し時間がかかっているように思います。お店は20席ほどでカウンター、テーブル席両方あります。テーブルが2人がけなので基本1〜2人で行くお店なのだと思います。 ご店主さんと近所の常連さんのお話がフレンドリーでいいなと思いながら聴いていました。ちなみにこちらのお店は食べログカフェ百名店2021に選出されているカフェになりますよ。 ◆ カフェラテ ¥380 エスプレッソファクトリーという店名からするとやはりエスプレッソ系のドリンクが良いよねと思ってカフェラテを注文。コーヒーの酸味が効いたカフェラテは飲みやすいですね。ミルクフォームのミルキーさが苦味や酸味を和らげているのかなと思いました。 ◆ タルト ¥440 レシートにその他としか書いておらず、メニュー名が確かではないのですがたしかこれは本日のタルトで、中身は胡桃とバナナのタルトだったと記憶しています。おそらくはご店主さんが作られたであろう自家製のタルトなのではないかと思います。 固めのタルト生地に香ばしい胡桃が相性良いですね。さらに自然の甘さのバナナが追加されるので甘さ、香ばしさ、食感の3つを楽しむことができます。

木曜日の18時過ぎに入店。（先客1名） 注文に迷ったので 「オススメはエスプレッソですか」 と店主に聞くと 珈琲系のドリンクは 全てにエスプレッソを使っているため どれもオススメとのこと。 ならばエスプレッソ単体を味わいたい と思う一方で 単体だけではさすがに寂しいので シフォンケーキもセットで注文することに。 ▶︎注文したもの ▫︎エスプレッソ ¥320 ▫︎シフォンケーキ ¥460（セットで¥100引） ◎エスプレッソ 程よい苦味で飲みやすい エスプレッソを 普段飲むことがないため 評価ができないが 普段から飲まない人にも 飲みやすい味のように感じる。 店内掲示にもあるが エスプレッソは”淹れたて”が1番美味しいと 謳われているため ゆっくり飲みたい方には アメリカーノやラテ系がオススメ。 ◎シフォンケーキ 可もなく不可もなく 特筆すべきものはない。 ___________________________ 後から来た 常連さん的な方（3名ほど）は テイクアウトで『アイスカフェラテ』を注文。 おそらくだが カフェラテが1番のオススメかもしれない。 値段が良心的なので 近場で珈琲好きの方は重宝しそう。 ご馳走様でした。
