This is a coffeeshop to soothe the tired soul.

The storefront and entry area remind me of a simple cottage, rustic but bright and welcoming. Toward the back is a separate greenery shop that lends a garden ambiance to the location. The aesthetic drew me as I was passing by, and I made a note of it so I could come back later. I have come back many times since that day.

They make a lovely mocha, and if you get their scones with honey and clotted cream, it is a delicious snack that complements a study session. More often than not, though, I go with the granola bowl because I'm a sucker for fresh fruit (in this case, bananas), granola, and yogurt. If you're a frequent customer and you like playing this sort of game, you can pick up a point card toward a 500yen discount.

There is a 90 minute time limit on weekdays (and one hour on weekends) because the shop is on the small side, so be mindful of your fellow patrons. Even with the timer, though, the atmosphere makes it a worthwhile stop. I feel like my soul uncurls a little when I sit down at one of their tables.

Mitten im Café-Mekka Kuramae, nur wenige Schritte von der Station der Toei Ōedo-Linie entfernt und leicht in Richtung Asakusa gelegen, befindet sich das charmante Café Feb’s Coffee & Scones Blucca – ein echter Geheimtipp für Liebhaber von gutem Gebäck und gutem Kaffee ☕️ und Matcha.

Es ist die Schwesterfiliale des bekannten Feb’s Coffee aus Asakusa und kombiniert auf gelungene Weise ein Café mit einem Geschäft für Zimmerpflanzen. Das Ergebnis ist ein liebevoll gestalteter Raum, der Wärme, Natürlichkeit und Ruhe ausstrahlt – ein Rückzugsort mitten in der Stadt.

Das Herzstück von Blucca sind die hausgemachten Scones, die in großer Vielfalt angeboten werden. Von klassisch „Plain“ über Varianten mit Nüssen bis hin zu Kombinationen wie Banane und Kakao-Crunch ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die Preise liegen zwischen 300 und 350 Yen pro Stück und sind damit angenehm moderat – besonders in Anbetracht der Qualität.

Bei meinem Besuch war das Café gut besucht. Alle Plätze im Innenraum waren belegt, und es warteten bereits ein bis zwei Gruppen auf einen Tisch – ein klares Zeichen für die Beliebtheit des Ortes. Die Scones haben mich geschmacklich überzeugt: außen leicht knusprig, innen locker und saftig, mit fein abgestimmtem Aroma. Hier wird deutlich, dass mit Sorgfalt gebacken wird.

Neben Scones bietet Blucca auch herzhafte Gerichte und Frühstücks- oder Lunch-Menüs an, die man vor Ort genießen kann. Die Speisekarte verspricht eine abwechslungsreiche Auswahl, ideal für ein entspanntes Frühstück, ein leichtes Mittagessen oder eine kleine Auszeit zwischendurch.

Blucca eignet sich sowohl für einen Besuch allein, zu zweit als auch für einen kleinen Ausflug mit Freundinnen oder Freunden. Auch wer einfach nur etwas Leckeres mitnehmen möchte, ist hier genau richtig.

Weiterhin gibt es FREE WIFI. Allerdings muss man beachten, dass man nur eine bestimmte Zeit hier verweilen kann. Man bekommt einen Zettel mit der Zeit, wann man das Café wieder verlassen muss. Feb's Coffee&scone is the sister cafe to February Cafe (about 2 mins away). It focuses primarily on scones, which they do excellently. So good in fact, that we came twice during our trip! The coffee was amazing and I even bought some beans to take home.

The scones were so buttery and tasty and not dry at all. We also tried the pistachio financier and it was so good too.
