A dream for MT washi tape lovers! This flagship store located in a quiet back alley of Taito city has floor to ceiling selections of washi tape in a huge range of colours and designs. Most are about ¥160 each which is about a quarter of the price they are in Australia. MT is the highest quality, I have some rolls from my last trip to Japan 10 years ago and they are still sticky.

The shop is beautifully presented.

Try your luck out the front with the Gashapon machine. Buy a token inside for ¥100 and see what gift you will get. I got 2 x limited edition badges and a small roll of washi tape in another capsule. Random capsules have a coupon for a free...

What a lovely washi tape store!

It has all kinds and the staff are lovely. And you can see artworks of washi tape - incredible! Also gachapons (?!) - one you can spin for their merch or the other is get a surprise washi tape. They both use different tokens, you'll need to tell the staff which machine you want to try or be like me - do both 👌

Recommend visiting, I'm inspired to do some art with...

Simply the best place and brand for washi tape. Place was neat and tidy (zero crowd past 4 PM on a Friday) and the assistants were helpful.

Tried my luck in the gacha but didn’t win any good ones unfortunately. Nevertheless, it’s a great place to buy unique gifts for family and friends....
