Kimono Rental Asakusa Aiwafuku Shop #2 — Attraction in Tokyo

Great service, even though our booking online was not reply, still we came over, and were given a slot. But the original discount price wasn't given, we had to pay the more expensive individual pricing, family plan as said wasn't available.

Hair setting and kimono experience was a bit lousy, only good for my 5 yr old daughter. There isnt much choice for kids!! From 90cm to 120cm, my advice bring ur own for kids! The helpers at wearing kimono were much better and more helpful. Such a waste.

One thing we didnt like was, black hair doesnt necessarily mean we speak putonghua. They take it for granted, the reception desk.

Very friendly staffs who are very willing to help you. They are able to speak mandarin so communicate is not an issue at all. There are lots of Kimonos to choose from, quite easy to choose one that suits you. The staff gave a nicely taken photo as a token to us after our session. They also have a neoprint machine in the store for you to take with your Kimono before leaving. Highly recommended! will come again if I visit...

Got it from klook, quite nice price around ¥7000 for couple, including hairstyle, kimono set, hand bag, sandals, socks, hairpin and free postcard with our photos in it.. But the price for kids were a bit high, they charge ¥4300 for girl and ¥4000 for boy (they dont need hairstyle)

Kimonos/yukatas were a lot, vary colours and motif.. some can speak English, some were still Japanese/Chinese dialek, but hand signal...
