First Crop Coffee Japan Roastery — Restaurant in Tokyo

I found out about this roaster from a video posted by Kurasu. I was planning on being in Koto to visit a shop i wanted to visit and wanted to hit up this place. Do check the hours before visiting. They had a weird opening hours from 3pm - 7pm when I visited so I had to shift things around to avoid doubling back. The shop is not too far from the main street. When I got there, it seems there were a few locals already there mingling on the second floor.

The barista (may have been the manager or owner) was very knowledgeable and spoke english well enough to explain a few key characteristics of each bean offered. As a novice in both the world of coffee and japanese, I greatly appreciated the explanation and recommendation.

Great coffee place! We had an amazing experience here and my husband is not easy to impress! The ability to choose your own roast made the visit feel personal and unique, and the staff provided excellent advice to help me find the perfect coffee. The whole service was great, and the atmosphere felt like being in a coffee lab—so cool and professional.
