Forest Terrace Meiji Jingu — Restaurant in Tokyo

You'd expect that a restaurant located in an attraction would be "commercial and bland" but the food is unexpectedly wonderful; oiishi-desu!

There was enough of us to rotate the beef omelette rice, curry rice and pasta and all three items and I will highly recommend such a method because you'll not want to miss out. My personal favourite has to be the pasta; it was fragrant, the cheese was so good even though the quantity wasn't extravagant and the serving was oh so satisfying too!

If the weather is good do request for outside seats. Do look at the drinks menu and look out for "Omiki" which is their ritual sake (miki means sacred...

Nice gem in Meiji Jingu complex. Very spacious and comfortable. We didn’t eat much here but the few things we had were great. I enjoyed my hojicha latte, my husband’s espresso was fine and the surprise delight was the red bean croissant which neither of us had before but we ended up getting a second one! Our little baby seemed to like it too. I would detour in to the cafe if close enough just to have that croissant again! Good value too. Nice that they had self serve...

A small food hall selling various drinks and snacks, excellent after walking through Meiji Jingu's grounds. There's also vending machines and a smoking area here, along with plenty of indoor and outside seats and other amenities.

A little expensive, but the convenient location within the park makes it hard to...
