'not spicy' chicken curry is chock full of spices and mildly hot (spicy). Not suitable whatsoever for children, despite what the menu and proprietor claim.
was there during off-peak mid afternoon hours with no wait. Wanted to share two of the large portions (yes, they're big, as others have noted) between two adults and a small child. Was told off by the female proprietor with a "three orders only". Fine, if you're fluent in English, put signage up requiring minimum orders.
counter service, locals eatery. Unsuitable for tourist traffic, despite the touristy location. And you'll be treated with the...
A long wait (nearly 3pm) was necessary to get a seat in this much talked about curry rice restaurant. The unique menu choices and cozy space near Harajuku station boosted the anticipation. But unfortunately the food was only good...not great. Good flavors, yes...but lacking depth of really great curry. Service was reasonably good, but one of my curries (I got the 2 curry combo) was served less than hot. No lingering after finishing your plate as the waiting guests are staring intensely...

The appearance of the roux itself of the curries served by the restaurant (keema curry, chicken curry, pork curry, beef curry) is as ordinary as you would find in any other curry restaurant, but the way some of the dishes are served and the shape of the plates are unique, making it a curry restaurant where you can enjoy the appearance as well. I felt that the curry roux brought out the flavor and texture of the ingredients more than the spiciness. Even the medium-hot curry is not too spicy (it is not so spicy that it lingers after the meal), so even those who do not like spicy food can accept it. Not only the chairs and tables, but also the bottles in which the spoons and other items are kept are stylish and tasteful. Water is self-service (cups for water are piled up near the entrance). There are no steps at the entrance, and the chairs are set at a low height, making the restaurant accessible to people with disabilities such as...
