FRESHNESS BURGER Higashiueno — Restaurant in Tokyo

I really wanted to like this place but at best it was just OK.

The setting is nice and cosy enough. I had high expectations because the pictures of the food look very enticing.

I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese burger since it was my first meal of the day. But unfortunately I found the taste to be a bit on the bland side. There was really no character to speak of in that burger. Perhaps that's what they're going for? I could taste the freshness (heh) of all the ingredients that made up the burger but they didn't really come together to create anything new. They were also very light with the mayo sauce. But even then, the mayo tasted like any regular mayo.

It did fill me up until dinner though so I suppose in terms of sustenance it works and the price is reasonable for what I got. But yeah, I'd rather get a burger from another franchise in future if I needed a quick bite, because at least there I'd get some signs of life from the food. So it...

It’s a quiet little burger shop off a ways from the really crowded area of Okachimachi. I had a Salted Lemon Chicken Burger with their new Choc-dip Churros.

The food was better than I had expected, especially when it came to the churros. They were on the more expensive side, considering that they’re quite small and mostly made of flour, but delicious nonetheless. There was also a stand with spices on there you could choose to use on your food, though I didn’t use any.

The shop had several customers in there, mostly people on their own, so no loud, annoying conversations and the atmosphere was nice...

I ordered only one bacon omelet burger on weekday lunch time. I understand it’s the busiest time, but there were only two people ran in each positions(one in kitchen and another in front). I took order at 12:09 then my order came 30mins later. It was unprofessional and unexpected experience I have ever had. Fortunately food was good but this service was not good.
