So we decided to walk further to Ueno Ramen half a kilometer further and we were so glad we did. We got the last table available at this shoebox of a restaurant which is Halah and does not serve pork. The ramen with fried chicken was outstanding!! The fried chicken was stupendous and delicious. The soup is on the spicy side especially at the back of the throat but ooohhj do worth it!! The broth was great and savory and the noodles were excellent. They also give you a good amount of noodles. Read more-they made us pay in advance for the food after we ordered then proceeded to forget our orders and had to ask twice what we wanted -they gave us our ramens without our app which came out much later and everything tasted at best okay and at worst pretty gross -there were young kids running around the seating area to the kitchen and the cooks there were coughing with no masks and not using gloves
