This is just what I needed. I had two rooms due to an Expedia glitch. One was slightly bigger than the other but both were good. I knew they be small so my expectations were easily managed. Bed was very comfortable although I feel sorry for the person who has to change the sheets as it’s a tight fit. Pillows okay, one being very lumpy but the other was okay. |It’s amazing what you can fit into 3 x 3 metres. A bed, bathroom with small bath, sink and good toilet. Hanging space on wall for jackets. Television that I could never quite get to work other than getting the wifi room passcode. |Toiletries in bathroom were superb. Smell and fragrance was delightful. Shower easy to use and even had a bath. Plus of course - heated toilet seat. |Checkin was easy with staff that spoke very good English. Check in was easy and I was in my room within 5 minutes of arriving. Even though I had to change rooms, when I came back later in the day, they had put my bag in my room and gave me my hand creme I’d left behind in the last room - oh the Japanese have customer service to a tee. |Here are complementary pj’s on the bed but they didn’t fit me. |Great idea of having a plug and USB point right next to the end with good subtle lighting throughout the room. |Plenty of other complementary items like shoe shine and slippers.|Coffee machine in the foyer is a real bonus. Fee cuppa before you head out. The breakfast is on level 2 (1st floor for the rest of us) and consists of baked goods which are okay. There is a small dining room which was packed when I arrived hence I stood up to eat. Little microwaves seems sprinkled through the restaurant of your like to heat your bakery items. Juice and other drinks available. |Staff are lovely and very helpful. There is a bonus membership system that you can join if you intend coming back.|Location is ideal to the market area but also to the temples which aren’t far away. Only a half hour walk to the Zoo and in cherry blossom season, would be great to visit the nearby parks. Ueno Station is only 300m away. |Bonus of all bonuses - it’s quiet. |Thank you to all staff....
