📍 Location: The hotel is located in a very quiet area of Tokyo, yet it’s close to major metro lines. There are coffee shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and markets nearby,
🛏️ Rooms: The bed space has good headroom, and the bed is very comfortable.
Note: Luggage is not allowed inside the sleeping area, which is a good policy to avoid potential bed bug contamination from suitcases.
There are only 10 sleeping spaces on the 2nd floor, so it’s not crowded. You won’t see clothes hanging or clutter around the beds, and the area is very clean and well-maintained.
🚿 Washroom:
There is only one shared shower, but I never had to wait long. I was able to use it whenever I needed without any problem.
There are two toilets, which are cleaned daily by the housekeeping staff. The hygiene is excellent.
🙋♂️ Staff:
The staff are extremely friendly. Mr. Mi, who helped me during check-in, was very polite, spoke English well, and even came to my room to show me how everything works. He explained everything clearly — really excellent service.
📝 Check-in Check Out Process:
The check-in is very simple. You just fill in your passport details, and you’ll receive an email with your room number and instructions.
There are no physical keys, which is a smart and modern system.
💖 My Favorite Part: You can take clean towels at any time, and there are plenty available. You don’t have to hang wet towels in your room to reuse later, which I really appreciate. I dislike using wet towels, so this was a big plus for me.
🆓 Free Amenities:
Razors
Toothbrush & toothpaste
Earbuds
Cotton pads
Hair combs
These are all provided for free, so you don’t have to worry about bringing them.
There are also different types of shaving creams, razor options, and liquid soaps available.
🧺 Laundry:
You can wash your clothes using a coin-operated machine:
¥400 per wash
¥300 for drying (optional)
Alternatively, you can dry your clothes on the rooftop, which is a great budget option.
Free detergent is also provided.
🛋️ Lobby & Kitchen:
The lobby area is excellent — great for working on your laptop or taking calls.

Read morethis was my first time at a hostel and it was a good experience. I stayed in Ueno Ryokan Siesta for 6 nights and it was a pleasant experience.
The staff are very friendly and can speak Japanese/English/Chinese. Housekeeping is done everyday at 10am when I was there.
There are quiet hours from 10pm to 10am (next day). The rooms with the "pods" are very soundproof and people in the lobby cannot be heard which was very surprising
amenities available include toothbrush, toothpaste, razors, daily body bath towels, face towels, coffee, tea, hot water, shared kitchen area, fridge, freezer.
Floors are separated and you are either put into a mixed dormitory or gender-specific dormitory.
Pods are "open" and are closed with curtains so it's a bit of a gamble with your roommates but everyone is generally very respectful.
Luggage storage is available both before check in and after check out.
The hallway of the dormitory is used as luggage storage while you are staying there. I would argue that there is a bit of a security risk here since everyone's luggages are exposed to each other and so theft is not impossible. There are security cameras in the hallway so that may help. If you're really worried about other travellers stealing your belongings, you can personally lock your luggage on your own somehow.
Location was great for me since it's a 20 minute walk to Akihabara and Asakusa. I like walking so 20 minutes was not a problem for me. There is a train station about 11 minutes via walking.
I had a good experience here and won't hesitate to book here again if I'm staying near the area. Really can't complain given the low cost and high value you get out...
Read moreStayed here in bed 310 for 4 nights.
The hotel had sent me detailed check-in and general information about the capsule hotel. I arrived about 4pm, but surprisingly the reception was closed. The information provided was on point and I basically checked myself in.
My dorm was on the 3rd floor and there were 10 beds, arranged in Japanese capsule style. My capsule was an upper bunk. Inside the capsule was a mattress, a thick cover, one electrical outlet, a private light and some hooks for hanging clothes. Although there was no shelf to put stuff, there's a space between the mattress and the capsule wall to put quite a lot of stuff. Even though the floor was pretty much full the entirety of my stay, the whole place, including toilets/bathroom were always clean
Each bed also comes with a locker. It can just about fit a medium sized backpack. A lot of the guest had to leave their luggage in the floor. True to Japanese standard, it all stays as tidy as possible.
The bathroom/toilet was on the same floor. There were two shared toilets and only shower. Although I never had to wait to use the showers, I did notice other guests having to wait. Inside the shoer, the hotel supplied shampoo, conditioner and soap. The toilet were Japanese style and clean. Other things provided on the floor were washer, dryer for clothes, and a hair dryer.
The ground floor had a kitchen with fridge and cooking facilities, dining and common area. The hotel even suppled tea, matcha and coffee.
There was Wifi throughout the hotel and it worked well.
Overall, I had an excellent stay and would...
