Perfection, Gelato Bravo, perfection! 3 weeks in Japan, definitely not enough time, but what an incredible treat, Gelato Bravo! We visited Gelato Bravo twice during our last 6 days in Tokyo. Delicious, creamy (OmG), incredible flavors and ample portions. Traveling with a growing teenage boy, the small size was even enough for him. Our first time to Gelato Bravo was after a great visit to the TOP Museum, and stroll over to Daikanayama and Ebisu neighborhood after. It was 75 degrees, ice cream sounded good, we just happened upon Gelato Bravo.
Our second visit, purely intentional, must have another before heading back to the states! 🌸 Very tiny shop, only 1 -2 people can stand inside while choosing flavors, super kind and friendly staff🥰! There are a couple of benches out front, and just to the side of the building several stairs where people were sitting and enjoying gelato. Great price, ¥900 per person, 2 flavors, for a good sized portion small! We pay more here in the San Francisco/Bay area for smaller portions and not even close to the quality of ingredients! So many things we already miss about Japan, Gelato Bravo is one of those things! Looking forward to visiting again soon! 🇯🇵🙏🏻💗

Read moreIf you’re on the hunt for authentic, proper gelato in Tokyo, Gelato Bravo in Shibuya is the place to go. Unlike the many mediocre knockoffs you’ll find scattered everywhere, this spot delivers the real deal—Actual proper Italian gelato. It’s truly a hidden gem that deserves all the recognition it can get.
Their flavor selection is a delightful mix of the classics and unique combinations I’ve never encountered before. I opted for the Hazelnut and Pistachio, and they were unbelievable—rich, nutty, and perfectly balanced. My wife tried the Banana Honey Nuts, and honestly, it blew us away. Sweet but not overpowering, with a texture so smooth it felt almost indulgent.
What truly set this experience apart, though, was the warm hospitality. The manager (I regret not catching his name) was welcoming and clearly passionate about their craft. A special shoutout to Saki, who went above and beyond—when she noticed us enjoying our gelato outside in the brisk 6°C weather, she brought us blankets to stay warm. It was such a thoughtful gesture that added a personal touch to an already...
Read moreTop notch artisanal gelateria focused on quality ingredients and made in small batches. They store their gelato in the traditional Italian pozzetti cabinet, ensuring the gelato is kept as fresh as possible. The fior di latte was so creamy and really highlighted the pure essence of the milk. Other favourites were Caramel and Salt, Hazelnut and Domori dark chocolate flavours. Staff/owners are so friendly and kind and offered us a small cup of delicious brewed coffee that perfectly accompanied the gelato. The best gelato experience we had in Tokyo, highly recommend! Over three days, we had gelato at Gelato Bravo three times, we...
