I came across this place whilst looking for a dinner spot in Shimokita. The wonderful reviews and atmosphere made me decide to book.
It is a light and modern space with large glass window. The warm welcome from the front of house (who was also the wine sommelier) made me feel comfortable.
The appetiser selection was astounding and each sushi piece was immaculately prepared by the quiet and friendly chef behind the bar. I had few additional pieces (options on a separate page) which were all tremendous.
The unique offering of Hashiri is the wine pairing with the omakase sushi course worked quite well. It was evident that the sommelier had applied his expertise and knowledge of both wine and the food to assemble a fine pairing selection. His explanation of each course and the wine was very informative and helpful.
All in all, I had a fabulous time and can't recommend it...

Every bite was delicious and the wine pairings were great. They only had two other parties while I was there, and each of us felt highly-Individualized attention.
