Hendrix curry — Restaurant in Tokyo

A very decent curry. More Indian than Japanese style.

Home made, not like the chains in Japan. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

One of the special's the day we visited was a chicken keema, which did not disappoint. The vegitarian option was a mixed vegetable curry, which my girlfriend would never usually go for, but it was fantastic. And she's from Glasgow, one of the best locations for curry's in the UK certainly.

Could do with a little more naan though.

Considering 2020 Olympics are coming up, I'm sure people will go here. There isn't many options on this street, and this place is not really worth trying. Staff is horribly rude. They have a unique menu, but the food is okay. It's not amazing or bad. Good drink menu. Not sure if they do dessert. They do not speak English and will not try. 国立競技場すぐ近くにあるアメリカンで独特の雰囲気を放つ本格的なインドカレーとアラカルトを楽しめる ヘンドリクスカリーバー 。

国立競技場駅から徒歩7分の外苑西通り沿いにある店舗。

外観は大きな木の扉が空いていて開放感があるアメリカンな店構え。

内観はロックスターのポスターがあったり洋楽が流れたりアメリカンダイナーの雰囲気の店内。 カウンターとテーブルで20席の空間。

こちらは、昼はカレー屋、夜はカレーに合わせてアラカルト料理とお酒も楽しめるカリーバーとなっている。 カレーは本格的なインドカレーでかなりスパイスもきいていて辛味や苦味のバランスも良い大人な味わい。 注文したメニューの詳細は以下の通り。

■しめサバカルパッチョ 赤キャベツと玉ねぎのマリネにバルサミコ酢で酸味がきいたカルパッチョ。

■チキンカリーRサイズ たっぷりの玉ねぎの甘みに鶏肉の旨み、そこに沢山のスパイスでいただける本格的なインドカリー。 粗挽きクローブの存在感フェンネル等特スパイスもしっかりきいている。 苦味、辛味のバランスも良い大人なカレーで美味い。

■ライス 千葉の農家さんに特注した五分つき米は噛むと風味や味わいも良くカレールーとの相性が良い。
