It's about 3-5mins walk from ebisu station. Easy to spot this restaurant. I'll say this is my first time going to a ramen place without the ordering machine. Yes like finally someone to take my ramen order!!! I had one of the signature dish which cost me 1080 yen and a top up of 100yen to get a plate of gyoza. They do provide free house pour tea, bean sprouts and prickles in vinegar . The broth of is amazing 😍 I though I tried to finish it but I can't, was too full because of the rice and gyoza. The noodles is the main thing. It's cook on the right time and temperature. This is the best noodles so far I had in Tokyo. It just slide down your throat!!!! Instead of the usual soya marinated eggs they don't use anything on it which you can tell it's fresh and the eggyolks are lava!! Gyoza are so tiny and cute ! They serve it with some chilli infused yuzu.its not spicy!they are delicious...

I was really happy to get a seat right away. The staff was helpful and the kitchen was fast. Ordering is through a tablet and there is an English menu. I opted for the Akamaru ramen with all the toppings 1620 yen. It came with egg, seaweed and extra piece of pork. The tonkotsu broth was heavenly. It was cloudy with a hint of garlic and mild spices. The chef did a great job with the ramen and gyoza 250 yen. The fried rice however, was only OK. It was too moist and didn't have as much wok flavor as I would have liked and was missing a slight crunch. The interior of the restaurant was cool. The patrons have a full view of the kitchen. Great job everyone at Ippudo. I left happy and a full...
Read moreSlightly off the main streets of Ebisu, this Ippudo offers the true rustic look and takes the reputation for being the 1st Ippudo to be opened in Tokyo many many years ago.
Having been to different Ippudo stores dotted around Tokyo - Ginza, Roppongi, Omotesando, I still prefer the Ebisu store by far. It is usually less crowded, the team is alot more friendlier and the freezing cold Asahi Draft beer in the Ebisu store is simply to die for anytime of the year.
Serving up to 0200 hours every night, this is a great place for dining and supper cravings. Japanese head to ramen bars after their night out to grab a bite before heading home.
English menu is available in Ippudo restaurants and the friendly team will have no problems understanding your order. If you need a late night snack, you will not be disappointed at this establishment that has stood the...
