Came here for lunch around 12:10PM local time on Saturday and waited only 10 mins before being seated. Soba absolutely delicious and the tempura is a must try! Food: Soba texture had a good bite, Tsuyu dipping sauce had good taste, but it was a different experience preparing it than I was used to; You are provided with grated radish and wasabi, but there is also a broth you can mix in for flavor. It was new to me, but tasted great. The shrimp tempura was crispy and plump. Their soba tea cake is worth a try. I found it be fragrant and refreshing. I ordered a regular size, but regret not ordering a large. Service: Staff is quick and friendly to foreigners. It is a bit of a small place so service is prompt. Atmosphere: Good size seating for the size of the place. A few things to know: 1. There is an English menu and staff speak little English. 2. CASH ONLY. 3. Line and wait increased around 12:30PM, but the line moved along very quickly. Would visit again next time I am in the area.

Soba rookie here. Nice, warm ambience inside. Ordered the Kamoyaki (grilled duck appetizer) which was tender and good. Next I had the Tenzaru that came with cold soba noodles with dipping sauce and tempura (tiger prawn, conger eel, and vegetables). It was tasty, I honestly could've eaten two more orders of noodles. There's no way you don't slurp these noodles! This soba eating experience was nothing close to what I've had in the states. Ahhhh I wanna eat more! Do yourself a favor and get the soba tea ice cream. It kinda taste like earl gray but with a tad more sweetness instead of bitterness. The small roasted buckwheat provides a nice crunchy texture to each bite and it was easily one of my favorite things I've had in Japan. P.S. one thing to note is I think it's cash only.

Love this place. I ordered tenzaru soba (1520 JPY, tax inclusive). It was a cold soba noodle dish cooked perfectly to al dente, coupled with soba sauce dipping and freshly fried assorted tempura (prawn, vegetable, conker eel meat). Soba noodle was good and aromatic. Tempura was crunchy, yet you can feel the freshness of the ingredients. They also served soba boiling water (in a kettle) in the end of the course, just in case you want to taste the soba tsuyu. Pouring it to the leftover soba sauce and drink it. This place is cash-only, no credit card accepted.
