Local eat is always the best. One simple rule if you want to eat like a local. It’s best to select the restaurant with japanese menu only because most local will come to their favourite ones repeatedly. I and my partner are the only foreigners in the store among japanese. Simple menu: first, you need to select among four types of broth based on chicken broth: thick, smooth, ramen dip noodle (yes, this one is awesome too) and one more type which I haven’t tried yet. I think they got the same noodle texture as I couldn’t have enough time to translate every single Japanese on the menu since there is a queue after me. But the noodle texture is addictive combined with the broth is out-of-this-world. I don’t think you can top up with more noodles since other places offer but it helps you to empty the bowl in an instant since it’s hard fo resist. Highly recommended this hidden restaurant whenever you have a chance to come to Suidobashi station which is near the Tokyo Dome City.

Absolutely amazing ramen, and everything is just chicken-based (no pork and no beef not even in the broth). The broth is very rich, with great depth of flavor, just delicious. The noodles have a bit of a bite to them, unlike other places where they overcook them. The spring onion adds a touch of freshness. We also had the chicken char-siu bowl, and it was also amazing: great charred flavor, perfectly cooked rice, great chicken. We shared a ramen and the char siu bowl with rice for two, and it was plenty for both of us, 1,700yen all together. Overall an amazing place, incredible.

They do 100% chicken based ramen (no other type of meat is used). Best ramen we’ve ever had. My husband got the creamy version (#2 on the vending ordering system) and I got the usual version (#1). They were both super delicious, the restaurant takes pride in where it sources it’s ingredients, the types of noodles it serves for each type of broth. So delicious. A big queue out the door the entire time. Not great for large groups (like most places in Japan). Max table size of four. Their banana shakes were also yum - I got the black sesame and it had a lovely subtle nutty flavour.
