I hope you can see my review before you go ahead and book this hotel. This hotel is extremely horrible. I wake up with new mosquitoe bites every morning. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, are not helpful at all. You have to check in yourself using a slow and frustrating iPad. Even if you encounter a problem during registration, the front desk staff insists that you handle it yourself. I don't understand the reason they hire front desk staff if they won't assist guests.
They claim to provide housekeeping every two days, but they always come up with different excuses to avoid their duty. They set this rule, yet they are the ones breaking it.
I have stayed at this hotel twice. On the first day, the door was broken, and they didn't offer a solution or even consider changing my room. It's quite amusing, isn't it?
During my second stay, the housekeeper didn't come to clean the room. When I called to inquire about it, they initially claimed it wasn't a housekeeping day, but I corrected them. They then further denied it, saying that I had put the "do not disturb" magnet on the front door, but I assure you that I didn't. So you can clearly see that they have many excuses to avoid their duty, or perhaps they simply don't welcome guests staying more than one night.
Additionally, the staff refused to clear my rubbish bin or provide fresh towels, even upon request. I was left with no choice but to personally go to the front desk for new towels. This level of service is unacceptable and demonstrates arrogance of the staff.
Considering that I paid over 120,000 for a six-night stay, it is definitely a nightmare. This is the worst hospitality experience I have ever had. The staff seems to pretend that they don't know English. The service they provide is worse than what you would find on Airbnb. I definitely do not recommend...
Read moreBy mistake I selected 2 people to stay in a bunk room because I was going back and forth between a 2 person and 3 person option with the two rooms I was booking for our family trip. Out of the 4 hotels I booked for our trip, this was the only mistake I made with the number of people in each of the 2 rooms booked. Upon confirming the names of the guests in the bunk room, they made me aware that I had only booked 2 people in that room. Mind you, this bunk room has a queen mattress on bottom and a double on top, so it can easily fit 3 people. I was told that because the room is labeled a “BunkBed 2” room, I could not go over the 2 allowed people. Even though the beds are the same size as the “BunkBed 3”. I asked if they could just charge me the extra money for the third person and they said no. The only thing they could do is to upgrade my room to a BunkBed 4 which would cost me and extra $1297. Needless to say I was not going to pay that. So we spent half of our day looking for a last minute room for the extra person at a hotel that was close enough to where we were staying which was quite challenging as we were in a peak travel season. My frustration was their total lack of willingness to be sensible and work with me. Mistakes happen! I felt like they were using it as an opportunity to gouge me. Also, I was 12 hours past the cancellation deadline, so I was stuck staying here. Beds were hard as rocks too as...
Read moreI was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I carefully selected the hotel by checking reviews on various platforms and Google. I booked a five-night stay and didn’t realize that check-in was only available after 5 p.m., which is quite late. What bothered me was that the room was not very functional. I understand that hotel rooms in Japan are typically small, but they are usually designed to be highly functional. There was no place to open my luggage, the clothing rods were too low for dresses, there were no towel hooks in the shower, and if you hung your towel in the room, it would touch the furniture. Additionally, the hair dryer couldn’t be stored properly.
The hotel had a washing machine, vending machine, ice machine, and a room for ironing, but they were all located on different floors. You have to go to one floor for the vending machine and another for ice. The ironing room shared space with the vending machine and didn't have enough room to properly iron. There was no place to hang clothes once they were ironed, and the room was uncomfortably hot since it was shared with the ice machine.
Location was good as it’s really close to JR line and subway station is about 7-8 min walk away. I wouldn’t stay at any of their hotels the next time I...
