On my second day of stay I came back to my room when it was dark around 10PM night. After I opened the door with my card key and put it to the room key socket it was still dark and no light at all inside the room. Then I tried the other card key instead of first one which I opened the door, and it was the same, no light at all. So I decided to enter the room without lights on to try to put on some light and at that time I hit my leg into the some suit case stand which was standind right on my way near toilet door was located. I was holdong bags on my hand and could not touch walls etc using my hands like usually poeple do when it is dark. So it hurted so much but still I tried to locate some swithes to turn on the light and finally I managed to do so. And I looked my legs and it was bleeding right in the place where I hit so hard because of the darkness. So I called hotel sfuff and explained them about the things that happened to me because of the hotel room darkness. It was the guy named Sekiguchi at that time and he said he is not in the position to take take care in this case so he asked me to wait until next morning. And Sekiguchi called me to the room next morning and came to my room with other guy with him and again I explained the last nights incident and the other one told me they have nothing to do with this. Obviosly it is not normal to have blacked out room when it is dark at the night and to be forced to enter and find out the switches hidden somewhere inside the room by myself holding bags in both hands. So I got so much frustrated hearing from them like this was my foult that I hurt myself becouse of full darkness even I put my card keys. So I asked to tell someone manager level and they brought the guy named Suga as I remember which is their customer manager. And when he come to my room hearing the situation, he acted even more ruder, and kept talking like I am pretending like that. That was so rude to hear that after all this happened to me, and they was looking at my leg which is bleeding. I even did not washed it until next morning to show them. And in the end they just kept justifying themselves and took the stand which I hit my leg and just gone away without any sign of remburresment or something to make me to forgive this incident. It was worst hotel expirience I ever had. Usually hotels like this do some apology and I expected at least upgrading the room. Total...

Stayed here recently for the first 4 nights of our Japan holiday , and concluded with the final 2 nights here .||We’d booked a Premium King room on the 38th floor first time , and 36th floor the second time .||Room is beautiful and overlooks Tokyo Dome City and the Tokyo Dome . ||Large room and large bathroom . Great blackout blinds and good humidifier and ac as Japan been very humid during our stay(s) . Included in the Premium Room experience is free mini bar ( wine both red and white / Asahi beers / tonic water and sodas ) . This was great as many times we’d grab a beer after a long day . ||Another perk was free breakfast on the 43rd floor in the ‘ Artists Cafe ‘ which provided a breathtaking view of Tokyo regardless of which side of the cafe you sat in .||This is where things got “ less premium “ ;-||* there is a designated ‘ Premium Check|In ‘ area of floor 2 , we only found this out by wandering around the hotel after check out |* I’d requested a late checkout on the final|Day as our flight not till 8pm from Narita , I was offered and extra hour till midday that cost me $44.00 AUD |* the main check in counter kept pushing me towards self checking and self checkouts which were swamped with tour groups ( no mention of the premium Check in/ out area) |* the breakfasts were regularly luke warm / bordering on cold and twice my wife had to ask for her eggs to be heated up or arrive hot . Whilst the staff in the 43F cafe were great , the ‘ Western Breakfast’ set choices were unusual . You would also think a hotel of this level would have a decent coffee machine somewhere . ||Overall - other than the bellboys and Artist Cafe staff - service verges on poor imo ||The good :-|* beautiful room|* excellent location in Bunkyo City within walking distance of so many activities / eateries / shops etc . The location is also nowhere near as busy as in central Tokyo which is great ||Sudiobashi local train station only a few minutes walk and provided easy access via local lines ( Chuo line predominantly ) into Akihabara / Asakusa/ Shinjuku / Shibuya etc|| Wi fi was solid , not great as we VPN’d to watch our shows from Australia as navigating the TV system was diabolical . ||* on site Lawson convenience store which was great ||Overall a lovely hotel that did not provide the Premium Service...

I stayed at Tokyo Dome Hotel for a week in April (8–15) and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Tokyo’s entertainment area with easy access to shopping, attractions, and public transport. The staff was polite and helpful, and both reception and room service are available 24/7, which is a big plus.

The hotel itself is large, with 43 floors and a variety of amenities:

43rd floor: An Italian restaurant with view 42nd floor: A boutique store 41st to 10th floors: Guest rooms 7th floor: Gym and laundry room 4th floor: Japanese restaurant 3rd floor: Buffet breakfast restaurant 2nd floor: A small but convenient store

Rooms are cleaned daily and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent.

There is also a currency exchange machine in the lobby, which is very convenient, though it was out of service on some days.

Pros: Great central location Close to the shopping center, supermarket and many restaurants. LaQua spa is in the mall, ask reception for more details 24/7 reception and room service Daily housekeeping Multiple restaurants and food options inside the hotel Starbucks is a few minutes away Close to the metro lines (I used 3 different lines) Currency exchange machine on-site Beautiful views from the upper floors

Cons:

The gym is not free to use — this was unexpected as it was not clearly stated on Agoda when booking. I specifically chose the hotel for the gym and was disappointed to find out there was an extra charge.

The pool is seasonal and was closed during my stay.

No water refill stations or coolers — only ice machines are available. I believe having at least a basic water tap is essential for a hotel of this level.

The bed was quite hard, not aligned with US or European standards — something to consider if you're used to softer mattresses.

The currency exchange machine in the lobby was out of order on some days.

Overall Impression: Despite a few small inconveniences, I really enjoyed my stay at Tokyo Dome Hotel and would likely stay again.

A few improvements from management — particularly regarding water tap availability and clearer communication about amenities — would make the experience...
