The food ranged from bad to disgusting. The crab had all been improperly frozen so it was stringy, and on top of that they boiled it what seemed like 3x as long as it was supposed to be cooked. It made me gag to try to swallow. When you cook lobster, the claws are almost never remotely as big as the shell- but one claw was so overcooked, the meat was literally 5% the size of the shell (the size of my thumb) and was the driest, chewiest piece of lobster I've ever had.
The shellfish in the shelf was rotten and dead. I cook so I know that if the shellfish is open/what the smell is supposed to be if it's gone bad and it was all dried up/dead/rotting. Anything that wasn't gone, was contaminated by the 90% of it that was spoiled.
The cooked dishes were disgusting and clearly hadn't been touched or cleared out since when they were first put out (I went at 7PM). The eggs that were boiling I didn't bother trying, but I imagine they had turned to sand inside the shells.
The room was nice enough, and the staff was mostly on top of things and friendly. However the food was so outrageously terrible, even after spending 110$+ on the king crab course, I left still feeling starving because the crab/lobster while safe to eat, was safe because it was frozen and then boiled to death, and all the shellfish was spoiled and I would not have eaten it if you had paid me to.
Maybe this is a completely different experience during lunch or the beginning of the week when things are fresh but the way they cooked the crab makes me think there is no scenario where it's worth the money. I would wager the shellfish had been sitting rotting and dead in the fridge for at least a week.
Save yourself the money and go to literally anywhere else in Japan for seafood. Purchase 10 plates of king crab elsewhere and you'll be better off.

Read moreToday I decided to go eat some crabs while in Shibuya.
To get there from Shibuya Station, google took me through Shibuya Crossing! It was raining today.
I had the restaurant to myself before others started showing up for a late lunch @2:00pm.
They have 4 levels to pick from. Walk in was super easy. You can decide with level you want to go with. I went with the one with 3rd level that included Lobster and Spiny Lobster. They have different prices for women, men, and kids which makes sense!
You order the lobsters with the staff.
The crab is yummy, succulent and tasty. I'm glad I got to try this place.
I suggest that you try the crab one by one to find your favorite. Some type of crab was sweeter while others were meatier and dense. Grill some on the stove! It tastes even better with the garlic butter!!!
I can't talk about the sushi, but what was there look good.
Their strawberry ice cream was super yummy! I wish I could have more but no more space.
There are wipes, gloves, and mitts for you to eat with. The scissor make eating easy as well.
Overall I would recommend for sure.
Everyone was super friendly.
Thank you for your service...

I don't neccessarily think the food is spoiled or anything, there's just so much trash, and I can't imagine the hygiene in the kitchen is any better. The crab is probably fine to eat since it's in it's shell and nobody has touched it, I ate some and it tasted normal (had to pay anyway, had made a reservation, have issues with confrontation, and again, the shell), but it's just in no way worth the general atmosphere of a dumpster. It's been a few weeks since my visit and I'm still upset about...
