H&M — Local services in Tokyo

I rarely write reviews but this experience made me so uncomfortable I won’t return to this H&M. The long blonde hair sales associate is so rude. Every single time I come to this H&M and I try something on I get an attitude from her. I don’t understand why you work in retail if you clearly don’t like your job. Today I simply asked for an extra size, and was refused and told to get it myself. I understand that the change room was slightly busy at this time so I would’ve been willing to wait, or even if it was explained politely that she wasn’t able to get the size, I would’ve been more understanding. Worst customer service experience in retail in Japan. A sales associate (named Reina?) casually body shamed me by asking if my size was available (I am half Japanese, midsize) and looked me up and down. I said I have shopped here before and every clothing store in Japan has my size (I am not super skinny but on the mid range). I have never felt so offended by any salespeople before. I’m don’t usually write reviews because I’m rarely ever bothered or picky about things. This H&M is nice but one of the male staff members was very rude because I couldn’t understand an extra bag was exactly 20 yen and there was no change or card payment accepted for it. He charged me for my clothes but couldn’t add on the 20 yen charge. I get I should learn some common phrases but to drop a hanger on the floor from frustration and give attitude when I did nothing to provoke him is crazy.
