It was a hot day. And we needed something cool and sweet. Research recommendations and people said that the weight was worth it for the shaved ice. Every word is true. We waited about 40 minutes in the heat. And every bite was worth it. The flavor was deep, rich. Don't be intimidated by the menu. We had the chai and strawberry with very berry berry.

The ice is shaved is slowly and carefully with each layer being seasoned well and fully such that each spoonful is light, flavorful, yet balanced without being cloying or oversweet at any point.
They offer condensed milk for an extra fee at the end to clean off the bowl but it's so well incredibly well made, that you won't need to.
The door is open so the heat still comes in quite a bit but is still fine.

I was so not classy and demure eating this, you have to eat this fast else the ice melted so fast, your kakigori will end up in the tray like mine. Hahahaha.
Point to note, be prepared to wait under the hot sun as the seats are limited. Also, this place doesn't open very regularly, so kinda need to see your luck to eat here. But...
