My wife wanted to eat good tendon, and vloggers Simon and Martina recommended this place in Kichijoji. We went here in the mid-afternoon, so there were no lines.
There are three choices available for the tendon — I got the one with shrimp and eel (¥1,380).
Now, the bowl is deceptively big. My order had a piece of eel sitting on top of the rice. Leaning on the eel are two shrimp tempura. There is also an egg tempura and a squid cubes tempura in there.
The taste is a balance of sweet and salty. Really good bowl, especially the eel! The rice absorbed the sauce drippings from the tempura on top, making for very tasty rice.
I said the bowl was deceptively big. Yes, it’s delicious, but it’s a lot. It was a challenge for me to finish my bowl, plus I had to finish my kid’s bowl which still had half a serving! I finished the food, stood up, and did not want to eat anything over the next two hours. I was that stuffed.
So if you plan to eat here, come hungry. Don’t snack on fried chicken on the way...

It's super nice inside and the staff were very nice. The food was great, nice and fresh and cooked perfectly. It was also served hot and at an edible temperature. I've been to tempura places before where it is served too hot to eat, but this temp was perfect! The egg on top of the rice was delicious.
