Kimini Ageru Kiwami — Restaurant in Tokyo

Googled for choices of closes restaurant, after shopping at corner of Nishi-asakusa and Kikuyabashi. Noticed restaurant had decent rating as such came here. Menu was only pork chop rice, but was expecting to have noodles as well. A non English speakers staff approached mentioned they don't serve noodles. At first we decided to leave after thanking him. He then came along with us outside trying to show us where has noodles. Then both me and wife decicided we could have pork chop rice for lunch and we went back in again. The ticket machine ordering food was easy, but we had difficulty understanding what comes with pork chop and again assistance was offered again by that same staff and a lady from inside kitchen area came as well. Lucky we changed our mind and came back. Food was unbelievable great, tasty, and not only great value for the price, but also their service speaks for itself, after all what made us stay changed our mind. This restaurants is definitely worth it all. Being a tourist here in Tokyo would highly recommend this...

Great hole-in-the wall on the way to Kappabashi (knife district) in Tokyo. You order on a vending machine inside, give the tickets to the wait staff and they’ll seat you.

I got the pork cutlet and once you order, they’ll ask for small, medium or large sizes of rice and cabbage. I got the medium which was more than enough, they also provide free refills of rice and cabbage so thinking back, I should have gotten a small.

The pork was super juicy, they have home made katsu sauce, and all reasonably priced....

東京 稲荷町、田原町 浅草と上野の間に位置するこのエリア💁‍♂️  稲荷町は近くの下谷神社が江戸時代には 下谷稲荷と呼ばれていたことが由来している☝️  同じく田原町は昔このあたりが 浅草寺の田畑だったためといわれ このあたりの農民が農閑期の副業に浅草紙を 漉いていたので紙漉町の俗称もあった🧐  時代小説などでは浅草と上野を繋ぐ 新寺町の大通りとしてよく出てくるこの道 浅草通り この浅草通りを南端とする旧町名 浅草北清島町は 浅草清島町が浅草通りを境にして 南北二つに分けられ誕生 明治５年のことである🤔  もとになった浅草清島町 市制改革に伴ってできた町で 町名の由来はよく分からなかった🙀  この付近は明暦の大火の後  幕府の政策により寺院が移り街を 形成したことから新寺町と言われていた 関東大震災と東京大空襲と二度も 大きな災いに見舞われたにもかかわらず今なお 寺院が多く建ち静かな佇まい見せている町である💁‍♂️  浅草通りを歩いていると なかなかエクセレントなネーミングのとんかつ屋がある "嬉嬉豚とんかつ『君に、揚げる。』極"🐖  高いCPで人気のこちらのお店で 私は特上ロースとんかつと 肉巻き海老フライの定食をいただきました🤤  嬉嬉豚というのは 名水の多い群馬県で育てられたブランド豚で 上品な旨味と甘みのある脂身ともっちもちの 柔らかい食感が特徴のこだわり抜かれた豚肉です🐖  ご飯かキャベツ大盛りが無料で出来るらしいのですが 後で後悔するのは目に見えてるので ここは抑えて両方並みで…🤦‍♂️  特上ロースとんかつは丁度いいくらいの厚みで お塩、わさび醤油、生姜醤油でいただきます😋 お塩でいただくとジューシーな脂と濃い旨味が 一気に口の中に広がります👏  おっ、と忘れていたぜ海老フライちゃん🍤 とんかつと海老フライが同じお皿に乗っているって なんて日だ！とか訳の分からないことを 心の中で叫びながら美味しくいただきました🙌  横のお兄さんキャベツを大盛りにされていましたが iPadの高さくらいあるキャベツの量 大盛りにしなくてよかった…笑👍  恐らくよそのとんかつ屋さんであれば 三千円くらいはするであろう とんかつと海老フライとお汁も付いて 二千円以内で食べれるCPは予想以上の味で めちゃくちゃ美味しかったです👏👏👏  ご馳走さまでした🙏 ありがとうございました🙇‍♂️   #東京 #稲荷町 #田原町 #東京グルメ #浅草グルメ #君に揚げる #豚カツ #とんかつ #トンカツ #ロースカツ #とんかつ好きな人と繋がりたい #いちばんに入れるスイッチなんでしょう #来る日も来る日も食いモンばっか #ありがとう中牟田純です #下町diary  #規格外グルメ #規格外の旅食人 #食は人の天なり #美味しいもんには理由がある #高くて美味いものは当たり前  #安くて美味しいものは超一流 #foodie  #foodporn  #eeeeeats  #instagood  #foodstagram  #foodphotography...
