I happened across this place during a long walk when it was lunch time. Looking at the large number of options in this building I simply joined the longest queue of workers looking for what seemed to be their preferred lunch.

Simple, classic udon noodles with a reasonable number of options for tempura. The udon with broth was delicious and beyond cheap.

This is my first experience of an udon noodle Shop so I have nothing to compare it to but the food was delicious, the people friendly, prices seem super reasonable starting at 300 yen and you have a great view across to the imperial palace gardens while you eat. What more could...

Good self-service system. The portion is small but we can freely add tempura and green onion toppings and the water is free refill. Definitely worth it for the price, which is around 270-650 yen. Highly recommended for...

(再訪) するっと喉越しのいいうどん、仕事上がりだと閉店時間に近くなり閉店時間ギリギリに行くと、ガッタンドッタンバッタン遠慮なく片付ける中でいそいそ食べないとならない。落ち着きません。 あのさ、営業は１９時半でその前に入って商品売ったんだから受付終了でも閉店時間は20時なんだろうに間際に来た客になんて振る舞いだよ。 焦って食べてお盆を下げてごちそうさまと言っても無視、そんなに気に入らないなら営業時間をもっと早く終わらせればいいだろう。自分の不機嫌さを相手に伝えちゃ飲食の店員失格。ワンコインに満たない客に意見される筋合いないだろうけど、それを生業にするなら開店に来た客も閉店間際に来た客も同じだろうに。 本部の人ちゃんと確認しな、客が気を使って食べ なきゃいけないような店に先はないよ。おばさんの店員さんが特に態度悪い。長く通っているのにとっても残念です。 味はいいけどサービス最低、総合1に変更します。 (初回) 昼は混むので夜おじゃましました。10年ぶりにパレスに来てまだ営業されていらっしゃるんですから支持されていればこそ。 最初にうどんを頼み横にスライドしながら好みの具材をトッピング→精算という流れ、ネギ、天かすは乗せ放題、ま、ほどほどに。 昼と売って変わりよるは静かな時間、ゆっくりいただけます。 これからもお世話になります。 ごちそうさまでした。

仕事帰りに利用しました。 パレスサイドビル内にあるうどん屋さん。 入ってすぐのところで、口頭にて注文して、お盆を用意して、うどんを受け取り、その後天ぷら等を自分で取ってお会計という流れです。 天かすやネギが乗せ放題でした。 店内は広く、席もかなりあります。 また、1人で利用しても全く問題ありません。 机の上にだし醤油や七味もあります。 うどんは讃岐系でしょうか、こしがあるタイプですね。 今回はカツ丼セットを食べましたが、カツは小さいサイズのものが２つ入っているもので、卵、玉ねぎ、カツが具材でした。 味は甘さが控えめという感じです。 19時過ぎまで営業していましたので、仕事帰りに利用するのもいいと思います。
