First, the location was really convenient: -It was near a train station so it was so easy to get to from Narita Airport. -Tokyo dome was also within walking distance so we didn’t have to worry about rushing after the taylor swift concert. -So many convenience stores around it. -Daiso and Can Do (100yen shops) and Kokokara (Pharmacy) were also really near so all our needs were just within our reach. so many bookstores around! I felt like i was in a book capital of tokyo or something. It was such a nice neighborhood. there was not also that many people around. Different from the “tokyo vibe” we imagined. Streets were pretty quiet at night.
Second, the hotel was really so pretty as the name suggests, so many books around the hotel. From the lobby, to the corridors up to the room itself. Sadly, we can’t read because they’re all in Japanese. But just seeing all the pretty covers are enough to satisfy our eyes. to help in reading, each bed has its own reading light! It was so cute. -The room style was also to our taste. The table in the room was enough for two people.
Third, the amenities were great it’s my first time to experience a hotel that provides ponytail, combs and razors as amenities. The ponytails were a lifesaver because we forgot to bring one. not only hair blower but there was also a hair straightener!! the shampoo and conditioner smells great
Fourth, the service! my friend forgot her phone somewhere in the lobby. We didn’t realize it until so many hours later. We asked the staff and it was kept with great care.
Lastly, the price for a hotel that is near a train station and walking distance to and from the Tokyo Dome, with such a great hotel atmosphere and amenities, the price is pretty affordable really.
All in all, we are so glad to have found a very great hotel when we went to the Taylor Swift concert. Definitely will go back and recommend to anyone watching a concert...
Read moreHotel stay was okay, service at the front desk was pretty good but the rooms are left extremley dirty by the cleaning staff, under the beds is loads of dirt and dust and over some counters and machines in here are left dusty, wall paper is peeling off the wall and they should really remodel the rooms. There aren't any comfortable seats in the room and the only seat in the room is extremley tiny making it nearly impossible to eat in the room with your friend or sibling. Room is extremley humid especially on higher levels, AC unit is too small to deal with the problem and its pretty difficult to get hit by the Ac when one of the beds are placed right below it. There isn't an heating option which is pretty much torture when the room gets extremley cold. I recommend staying somewhere else but that is just me though. It is pretty annoying only having one room key and having to plan carefully who gets the key if you have more than one person staying. They are nice enough to leave towels and toothbrushes on the first floor in cabinets if only they would...
Read moreAfter booking this hotel, I read some google reviews stating how dusty the rooms were, and it was with some trepidation we entered the room. ||As it happened, the room was really pretty and huge, with a modern bathroom and decent storage. I did notice a certain level of dust in the room, but honestly, I was so impressed with the general look of the room with all the books on display, that a bit of dust didn't bother me. The room had very little natural light, as the window and the balcony overlooked an alleyway with a building about 3 feet away. However, there was lots of lighting in the room to offset this.||Some things to be aware of is that there are lockers in the doorway of the entrance to the hotel that are for guests checking in only. It specifically states it is not for guests that are checking out, which could be an issue if you leave later in the day.||There is a subway station close to the hotel which was handy for getting around.||I had a nice stay here and would...
