Made a reservation thru tablelog. I had the impression that I had prepaid the meal as my credit card was initially charged the full amount of the meal.
Kuniyoshi immediately seemed to have an idea who we were when we arrived. We were the only couple in the reservation list. Most other guests seemed to be businessmen.
Its basically an omakase of yakitori of different chicken parts. Kuniyoshi apparently came from a michelin starred restaurant before venturing on his own. He cooks the yakitori himself in front of his guests in the bar.
The food was excellent in my opinion and the chicken was cooked perfectly.
They have a wide selection of drinks to pair with the meal.
In the end, I was charged the full amount of the meal plus the drinks we ordered. I thought I was double charged and Kuniyoshi assured me I was not. Recently I got my credit card bill and sure enough, I seemed to be only billed a reservation fee. So be aware of that should you reserve in advance...
