L'AS — Restaurant in Tokyo

The first thing that took me by surprise was how crowded the place was. It was almost like they tried to fit the maximum number of tables and chairs possible. The servers were just coming and going not really taking into account the customers trying to get to their seat so I was a bit overwhelmed when I entered. Everyone gets the same menu unless you have an allergy or can’t take on certain ingredients so most of the explanations felt very robotic. Everyone was taking pictures of their food and it was a bit annoying because the cameras were just clicking left and right and like I mentioned the place is just super packed. There are only two toilets - definitely not enough for the crowd and i think I waited about 15 minutes and just gave up at the end. Okay, enough about the atmosphere of the place :p

The food was very good, and I was full towards the end of the course. I felt I was getting my moneys worth. I also felt the drink pairing with the food was great as well. 2023/12/29 今月のメニューを楽しみに再訪。年末スペシャルメニューとの事でした。味は、前回投稿の通りで今回も大満足。連れの女性も毎月来たいと、それだけ美味しいお店です。あと、相変わらず女子率高かった、けど、ナンパできないのが残念!

2023/11/04 他の口コミの通り、とんだ勘違いからこちらを初訪問。予約の時も、移転後初めてで楽しみにしていますとまで、語っていた自分が情けない。

もとい、この日は、ピエール・エルメで待ち合わせ、その後、土曜の夜もトミー散歩で、こちらをコロナ移転後再訪問、その後、元気があればミッドタウン近くのクラブ(バンドカラオケは(木)に行く予定なので！)に流れ、食べた分ゼロカロリーにという感じでした。ピエール・エルメは、既に再訪問投稿しましたのでそちらもよろしければご覧ください。流れで楽しめますようにと。

なので、こちらの口コミを新規に投稿するため、勘違いしてた移転前のラスの口コミを、あとで検索しわかった正しい店名のランベリー LEMBELLIR...

Great french hidden restaurant in Aoyama famous for its 🍷 wine-paring menu and it’s legendary foie-gras crispy sand ! Great food ! Great sommelier describing in details the wines. The chef sommelier Tokiwa speaks very well french and very kind.

I am not sure if they speak English though but the restaurant is ALWAYS fully booked when I go so please MAKE SURE TO RESERVE!

The food menu is excellent and has only one OMAKASE menu : ¥5500 and the 5 wines pairing is about the same price so pretty reasonable to taste good international wines.

The only thing that was a little disappointing was the amount of wine they serve. Being french it is a “tasting level” (70ml) not a “wine pairing” so just be aware. It would be great if the restaurant could improve that for customer satisfaction.

Also the restaurant fixed courses are two seatings: 5:30 to 8:00 and 8:30-10:30. They close at 10:30pm and they will kindly ask you to leave, so please be aware.

It is a little difficult to find the place even on good naps they often send you the other side of block.
