I recently visited Lare Coffee shop and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The variety of sweets on offer was impressive, and it was great to learn that they were all made by the lovely 90 year old chef, who first established this traditional Japanese Coffee Shop in 1964. Currently, the son of the original owner is running the show, and he was a delight to interact with. He was incredibly kind and treated each customer like family, which really added to the welcoming atmosphere of the shop. In addition to the great service, the coffee at Lare Coffee shop is top-notch. They roast their own beans in-house, and the selection of imported beans from across the globe on display was truly impressive. The authentic decor of the shop, with sacks of coffee beans on display, really added to the overall cute, kitschy and maximalist atmosphere. I was also happy to see that they sell roasted beans for customers to take home, which is always a nice touch. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Lare Coffee shop and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great coffee and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Great local coffee shop run by a couple with outstanding service. They were both very nice and accommodating. The coffee was really good and there are numerous beans to choose from. They also have a great selection of sweets. Cozy inside with a very eclectic vibe. Worth a stop and I’ll be back.

前を通るたびに気になっていたけど、車寄せが悪くていつも素通り。 でも、こちらの評価が高かったので伺う事に。 外から見る限りケーキのショーケースがあったので、お菓子屋さん？かと思っていたけど、こちらの投稿でもあった絶品だというカレーをテイクアウトする事に。 テイクアウトは本格的にはやっていらっしゃらないのか？テイクアウトの包材を探したり（苦笑）していらして、結局15分ほど待つ事に。 待っている間もお客様はひっきりなしに出入り。 どうやら間口からは想像できない？奥の広さ？！ （ちょっと覗いただけなので判りませんが） 店の外にはコーヒーの麻袋が重ねてあり、なんとこれを購入しに来ている人もいらして。 麻袋についてのコマーシャルとかも一切ないので、隠れた裏メニュー？なんでしょうか？！ 持ち帰ったカレーは昔、喫茶店で食べた様な真っ黒のカレー。 丁寧に玉葱を炒めたのが判る！！！ 玉葱の甘さと優しいスパイスが牛肉の脂が相まって何とも言えないまろやか〜な美味しさ。 またテイクアウトで伺おっと！ 楽しみが増えました。

Great local coffee shop run by a couple with outstanding service. They were both very nice and accommodating. The coffee was really good and there are numerous beans to choose from. They also have a great selection of sweets. Cozy inside with a very eclectic vibe. Worth a stop and I’ll be back.
